Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Gonzales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Colback (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nathan Gonzales looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nathan Gonzales! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jim Colback! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gonzales misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Gonzales connects with a high kick.
Colback decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Gonzales is refusing to be controlled, as Colback sits in half guard. Colback tries to stand but can't do so whilst Gonzales controls his leg. Colback is just content to waste time from the top position. Gonzales takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Colback preventing the sweep.
 That's one minute gone in the round.
Colback drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Gonzales manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Colback has Gonzales in his guard. Gonzales preventing the sweep.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Colback is controlling Gonzales's posture. Gonzales with a flurry of punches that miss.
Colback scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Gonzales shoots for a double leg takedown but Colback sprawls well. He's pushed Gonzales's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Gonzales is breathing heavily. Colback misses with a takedown attempt - Gonzales sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Colback tries to clinch there but Gonzales circles away.
Colback rushes Gonzales and presses him up against the cage. Gonzales pushes Colback back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Gonzales has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Colback avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nathan Gonzales. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gonzales throws a punch but it's blocked by Colback.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Gonzales wants to sweep here but Colback controlling him for the moment. Gonzales keeping moving, preventing Colback from controlling successfully.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Colback postures up in Gonzales's guard and throws a big left but Gonzales blocks it. Gonzales keeping moving, preventing Colback from controlling successfully. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Gonzales is adopting a defensive guard. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Nathan Gonzales dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Colback takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Gonzales lands with an overhand left. Gonzales has his takedown stuffed
and Colback counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Colback. Colback gets through Gonzales's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Colback should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Colback dodges an elbow strike from Gonzales.
Colback is trying to drag Gonzales to the mat but Gonzales just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. A battle for position here, against the cage. Colback has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Gonzales is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Gonzales lands a knee to the body.
Colback stops a takedown attempt from Gonzales.
Gonzales escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Gonzales throws a sloppy head kick and Colback moves out of range easily.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Colback looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Nathan Gonzales has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jim Colback. Colback takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Colback closes the distance and pushes Gonzales back into the cage. Gonzales is trying to maintain a safe position but Colback gets an underhook and turns Gonzales into the cage.
Gonzales's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Colback looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Colback looks for a takedown but Gonzales sprawls well. Colback closes the distance and clinches up with Gonzales, looking for a takedown. Colback pushes Gonzales against the cage but Gonzales circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Gonzales darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Gonzales tries a head kick but it misses.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Gonzales tries to pull guard but Colback won't allow it.
Gonzales misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Colback.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Colback drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Gonzales is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Colback clinches up with Gonzales and pushes him back against the cage. Gonzales lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Gonzales's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Gonzales prevents a body shot from Colback.
Colback ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Colback no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Gonzales is looking to stand up but Colback won't let him. Colback not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

And that's the end of the fight! Nathan Gonzales showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Gonzales, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
