Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Daugherty (ranked 1222 p4p, 151 weight class) and Konstantin Stepanov (ranked 1331 p4p, 163 weight class). Daugherty comes to the cage accompanied by Dragula - Rob Zombie. John Daugherty could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Konstantin Stepanov's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, John Daugherty! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Konstantin Stepanov! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Daugherty stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
It looks like Konstantin Stepanov has been cut. Stepanov missing with a left hand there. Daugherty was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Daugherty throws a shot from downtown. Stepanov moves away and avoids it. Daugherty looks to score with a jab to the body but Stepanov is just out of range. Stepanov misses with a body shot
and Daugherty counters with a crisp one two that drops Stepanov! Daugherty thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Stepanov to his feet! Stepanov is in big trouble!
Stepanov is rocked! Stepanov gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Daugherty points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Stepanov wakes up just in time to hear Daugherty thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). John Daugherty! After the fight, John Daugherty was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
