Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Isaiah Sturridge (ranked 2374 p4p, 4197 weight class) and Jay Leno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sturridge's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Gimmie The Loot - By: The Notorious BIG. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Leno misses its intended target.
Leno has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Leno there as he acknowledges the shot.
Sturridge scores with a leg kick.
Leno throws an overhand right that lands on Sturridge's shoulder, as Sturridge tries to avoid the shot.
An attempted straight right counter from Sturridge misses the target.
Leno takes a jab right on the kisser.

Leno cracks Sturridge with an uppercut from hell and Sturridge crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Leno's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

It looks like Isaiah Sturridge has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Leno postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Sturridge is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Leno, into his guard.

Sturridge stands up over Leno, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Sturridge wants to control from the top but Leno keeps moving.

Sturridge postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sturridge accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Sturridge wants to control from the top but Leno keeps moving.

We've been hearing that Sturridge has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Sturridge throws a strike but Leno rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Sturridge not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Sturridge wants to sweep here but Leno controlling him for the moment.

Leno drops back, looking for a kneebar! Sturridge looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Sturridge looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Sturridge!

Sturridge goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Leno has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Sturridge but great work by Leno.

Leno is trying to get an arm triangle but Sturridge is defending well.

Leno is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Sturridge knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Leno tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Leno has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Leno tries for a kimura but Sturridge is defending well.
Sturridge tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Sturridge sneaks back into half guard.

Leno is working for a submission of some sort.
Sturridge is pressing down on Leno's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

A close round but Jay Leno will probably get the nod.

Leno will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sturridge's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Leno connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Sturridge scrambles back to his feet.
A head kick misses from Leno.
A little feinted left hand from Sturridge on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Leno throws out a loose jab but Sturridge uses good head movement to avoid it.
Sturridge tests Leno's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Sturridge lands a glancing blow to the side of Leno's head.
Leno lands a nice shot that snaps Sturridge's head back.

Leno needs to keep his hands up - Sturridge had a free shot at his head there.

The crowd cheers as Sturridge lands an impressive looking overhand right. Leno doesn't seem phased though.

Leno is rocked!
Sturridge finds Leno's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Leno flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Sturridge lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Leno will be OK.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Isaiah Sturridge!
A relieved looking Isaiah Sturridge thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
