Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcos De Souza (ranked 2317 p4p, 308 weight class) and Abel Graves (ranked 3284 p4p, 428 weight class). Graves has chosen Deadsoul Tribe - A Flight on an Angels Wing as his entrance music. Abel Graves is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Sandra Marshall and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Souza's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Graves connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! De Souza scrambles back to his feet.
Graves lands with a shot to the body.
Graves leaves De Souza with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Graves gets in close and instigates a clinch.
De Souza ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. De Souza no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Graves throws a big elbow that misses.
Graves really doesn't want to stay on the ground with De Souza. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now De Souza is on top in guard.

Graves is refusing to be controlled, as De Souza sits in half guard.
Graves has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. De Souza is working away from the top position though.
De Souza definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
De Souza is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
De Souza wants to lay and pray for a moment but Graves keeps working.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
De Souza passes the guard and advances to mount!
De Souza can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Graves is looking to escape.
De Souza tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Graves tries to hold on but De Souza pushes him away.
De Souza is looking to work his way around to Graves's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.

Graves is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

De Souza is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Graves defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

De Souza has the hooks in. Graves is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

De Souza gets his hands free as Graves looks to control.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
De Souza's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Graves trying to control but not successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
De Souza has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Graves has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
De Souza shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Graves as he avoids it easily.
De Souza goes for a double leg but Graves avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Graves continues to drive forward.
Graves fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and De Souza has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
De Souza shoots in looking for a takedown but Graves manages to keep the fight standing, pushing De Souza's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marcos De Souza. That's going to take a lot out of him.
De Souza shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Graves is trying to defend but De Souza finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

De Souza maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Graves could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but De Souza has cracked it and Graves is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by De Souza!
