These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winnfield connects with an inside leg kick.
Winnfield throws a leg kick that misses.
Jules Winnfield seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Winnfield throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Dimagiba sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Dimagiba slips a straight right by Winnfield.
Winnfield feints and then cracks Dimagiba's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Dimagiba down.
Dimagiba dives in and grabs Winnfield's left leg, looking for a takedown. Winnfield pushes down on Dimagiba's head and hops out.
Winnfield throws a hook to the side of Dimagiba's head but Dimagiba sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Nice defenses there by Dimagiba.
Dimagiba misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Winnfield has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Dimagiba avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Winnfield throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Dimagiba walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Dimagiba tries to clinch but Winnfield moves away
and Winnfield counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Winnfield lands a big head kick that sends Dimagiba tumbling to the mat! Winnfield takes a step backwards and waves Dimagiba back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Dimagiba is rocked!

Winnfield connects with a leg kick. Dimagiba looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Winnfield misses with a looping right.
Winnfield throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Dimagiba looks winded!
Dimagiba chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Winnfield can pounce on him.
Winnfield knocks out Dimagiba with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Winnfield before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Winnfield picks up the big W with a huge KO!
