Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, James King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mateus Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King throws a wild body kick that Gracie sees coming a mile off.
Gracie blocks a jab.
King throws a head kick that misses.
Gracie lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Gracie avoids the head kick by King.
Gracie throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Gracie throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
King thinks about countering with a body kick.
King scores with a head kick. Gracie tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

King definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Well Gracie has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
