Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ben Glover (ranked 3195 p4p, 4301 weight class) and Marcus Kempton (ranked 390 p4p, 497 weight class). Ben Glover looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Marcus Kempton!

Kempton clinches with his opponent.
Glover looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Glover takes an elbow to the temple.
Glover gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Kempton regains guard.
Kempton is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Glover presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

and Kempton counters with a three punch combo that has Glover backing up. Glover nods at Kempton to acknowledge the strikes.

Glover shoots in looking for a takedown. Kempton tries to sprawl out of it but Glover keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kempton manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Glover throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kempton's waist but Kempton gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Glover off to one side.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
