Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Cracker (ranked 4772 p4p, 6343 weight class) and Prince Abobakkar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Charlie Cracker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Prince Abobakkar!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Arvi Lind and Marco Blurström.





The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abobakkar tries to clinch up but Cracker circles away and keeps his distance.
Cracker shoots in for a takedown but Abobakkar shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Cracker tries to score a power double leg takedown but Abobakkar sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Cracker somewhat.
Abobakkar tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cracker swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Abobakkar tries to bum rush Cracker with a series of wild strikes but Cracker uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Cracker shoots in looking for a takedown. Abobakkar tries to sprawl out of it but Cracker keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Abobakkar manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Charlie Cracker. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looked like Cracker wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Cracker pulls Abobakkar in close to prevent any damage.

Cracker is working an open guard so Abobakkar takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Cracker shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Abobakkar as he jumps to the side.

Abobakkar tries for a takedown but Cracker sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Abobakkar tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Cracker's elbow.
Cracker tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Abobakkar just stands there and leans against the cage.
Cracker blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Abobakkar wants a takedown but no success here.
Abobakkar is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Abobakkar is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Cracker to keep the fight standing.
Abobakkar is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Cracker is defending well.

and Cracker counters by clinching up.

Cracker pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Cracker darts in looking for a takedown but Abobakkar gets double underhooks and turns Cracker into the cage.
Cracker shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Abobakkar as he jumps to the side.
Abobakkar shapes to counter with a head kick.
Cracker swings for the body but Abobakkar moves out of range.
Abobakkar tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Abobakkar closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Abobakkar tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Cracker smiles and moves away.
Cracker will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Cracker tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Abobakkar swivels and escapes.
Abobakkar wants to counter with a clinch but Cracker pushes him away.
Abobakkar stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Abobakkar wants it to stay on the feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Prince Abobakkar dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Abobakkar.
Abobakkar has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Cracker clinches up with Abobakkar and pushes him back against the cage.
Abobakkar wants to break the clinch but can't.
Abobakkar is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Cracker is keeping busy.

Abobakkar sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Cracker's guard.
