Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Supachai Panya!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Andrew Ewels!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Daniel Franklin and David Hoff.

Ewels fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Panya throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Ewels tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Panya ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Panya jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ewels blocks an uppercut.
Panya has a couple of punches blocked by Ewels.

Panya misses with a punch on the inside.
Ewels jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Panya walks away with a smile on his face. Ewels gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and Ewels takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Supachai Panya has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrew Ewels.
Panya throws a lazy right hand but Ewels sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Ewels keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Panya bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Panya swings and misses with a hook to the body.
It seemed like Ewels was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Panya lands with a shot to the body.
Panya cracks Ewels with a right hand to the side of the head.
Ewels is trying hard to land a takedown here. Panya sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Ewels's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Panya connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Ewels scrambles back to his feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Panya lunges at Ewels with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Ewels's hand.
Supachai Panya seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ewels steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Panya.
Ewels drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Panya defends it well.
Ewels slips under a jab.
Good standup being displayed there by Panya as he connects with a hook.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Panya cracks a nice hook into Ewels's ribs.

Ewels gets tackled into the cage by Panya. Panya maintains the clinch.
Ewels has Panya pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Panya manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Panya breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ewels is defended easily by Panya.
Ewels fails with a takedown attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Ewels shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Panya manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Ewels is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Panya wants to stand and escape but Ewels is having none of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Panya wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Ewels manages to pass to side control.
Panya tries to kick Ewels off in order to stand up. Ewels Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Panya is looking to get back to his feet here but Ewels is keeping cool and he's managed to take Panya's back.

Ewels working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Panya is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Ewels has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Panya taps out!
