Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rivaldo Valle (ranked 3576 p4p, 3763 weight class) and Verekedos Istvan (ranked 338 p4p, 352 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Verekedos Istvan was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

A jab-cross combination lands for Valle and sends Istvan crashing to the mat! Valle follows him down to the mat - Istvan regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Istvan throws a right hand that Valle ducks under and follows up with a left that Valle also avoids with ease.

Valle has Istvan pressed against the cage, preventing Istvan from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Valle sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Istvan's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
