Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Karel Slezina (ranked 2870 p4p, 6169 weight class) and Carlos Graves (ranked 363 p4p, 630 weight class). Slezina comes into the arena with No Escape blaring out of the sound system. Karel Slezina has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Graves fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Slezina jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Slezina scores with a leg kick.
Graves bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Slezina's head backwards.
Slezina looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Slezina misses with a takedown
and Graves cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Graves connects with a body shot.
Graves blocks a low kick nicely.
Slezina walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Slezina shoots in and bounces Graves off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Slezina drops back looking for a leg! Graves is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Graves manages to kick Slezina off! Slezina jumps back into Graves's guard.

Slezina seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Graves does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
