Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cal Klos (ranked 2057 p4p, 3853 weight class) and Luis Gonzales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gonzales has chosen Stormzy - Shut Up as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Luis Gonzales was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Luis Gonzales!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Chris Edwards and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonzales throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A left lands for Gonzales.
Gonzales looks to land a left hand but Klos moved out of range nicely.
Klos cracks Gonzales with an open hand slap.
Gonzales throws an overhand right that lands on Klos's shoulder, as Klos tries to avoid the shot.
A big left from Klos misses.
Klos waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Gonzales.
A slow jab from Gonzales misses its intended target.
Gonzales tries to close the distance and clinch up but Klos swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Klos clobbers Gonzales with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It seemed like Gonzales was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Klos clobbers Gonzales with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Klos moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
It looks like Luis Gonzales has been cut.

Gonzales tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Klos lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Gonzales backwards.

Gonzales tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Klos blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Gonzales misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Klos is trying to trip Gonzales. He has hold of a leg but Gonzales is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Klos persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Klos stands up over Gonzales, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Klos controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Klos is in close to Gonzales's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Klos's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Klos thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Klos throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Klos is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Klos is pushing down on Gonzales's leg trying to pass to half guard. Gonzales is fighting to maintain full guard but Klos has managed to sneak the leg through.
Klos looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Klos is trying to work for a kimura but Gonzales is defending well.

Klos thows a huge punch but Gonzales dodges it nicely.
Klos takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Gonzales won't allow Klos to pass to mount.
Klos is taking a breather. Gonzales says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Klos shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Gonzales eats them both and turns towards Klos to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Klos sizes up Gonzales with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Gonzales gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Klos points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Gonzales wakes up just in time to hear Klos thank his coaches in the post fight interview.

A determined Cal Klos didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
