Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chief Killer (ranked 3271 p4p, 400 weight class) and Rui Rodrigo Germano (ranked 2706 p4p, 339 weight class). Germano comes into a darkened arena with his song building. HIM - Don't Fear The Reaper kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Chief Killer could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Rui Rodrigo Germano's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rui Rodrigo Germano!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksandr Martynov and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Killer misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Killer shoots in but Germano avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Germano is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Killer shoots in and drives through. Germano sprawls well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Killer wants to improve his position but Germano is controlling well.

Germano is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Killer to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Killer shrugs it off.
Germano lands a couple of good shots and Killer has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Germano looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Germano postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Killer in real trouble here! The ref calls for Killer to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

A very excited looking Rui Rodrigo Germano made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
