The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Von Stroheim looks to clinch

and Fudd counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fudd prevents Von Stroheim from improving his position.
Fudd working Von Stroheim over with strikes.
Fudd could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Fudd drops an elbow to the side of Von Stroheim's head.
Fudd working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Fudd scores with a big shot! Von Stroheim's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Von Stroheim! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
