Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, James Crumpton! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Steven Glass! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Ackerman and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Glass shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Crumpton keeping full guard, as Glass tries to pass. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Crumpton keeping moving, preventing Glass from controlling successfully. Crumpton can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Glass controls the pace. Glass throws a strike but Crumpton rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Crumpton wants to control from the top but Glass keeps moving. Crumpton has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Crumpton preventing the sweep. Glass escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Crumpton gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Glass has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Crumpton can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Glass working for a triangle but Crumpton defends it easily.
Glass is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Glass is looking for a triangle but Crumpton pushes his legs off easily.

Glass looks gassed! Crumpton preventing the sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Glass manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Crumpton keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Crumpton is working hard here to advance position. Crumpton really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Crumpton tries to lock up and control but Glass gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Crumpton knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Glass on the ground. Crumpton avoids a series of strikes thrown by Glass.
Glass controlling the position easily from mount. Crumpton wants to control but Glass is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crumpton is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Glass looking to finish with strikes here!
Glass lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Glass has hold of Crumpton's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Crumpton manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Crumpton is squirming around, avoiding Glass's attempts to control the action.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Glass avoids the attempt from Crumpton to control. Crumpton is trying to escape the mount.
Crumpton is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Glass locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Crumpton is forced to tap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Steven Glass! Steven Glass retains his heavyweight title!
