Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Hall (ranked 4123 p4p, 3214 weight class) and Donald Fonald (ranked 404 p4p, 333 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Ryan Hall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Donald Fonald!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Trevor Gratis.

Fonald displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hall throws out the jab.
Fonald lands a head kick. Hall smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Fonald tests Hall's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Fonald lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Hall on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Hall takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Fonald fails to land with a series of punches.
Fonald connects with a leg kick.
A nice inside leg kick there by Fonald. That's going to slow Hall down.
Fonald drives through and clinches with Hall against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hall breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Hall moves out of range of the leg kick from Fonald.

A looping hook to the body misses from Fonald. Hall does a little dance to reset his feet.
Hall was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Donald Fonald seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hall throws a looping overhand right but Fonald ducks down to avoid it.
Hall has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Essence of Epicity in the buildup to the fight.
Fonald lands with an overhand left.
Danga de danga de dang - Fonald scores with a four punch combination!
Fonald has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Hall is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Fonald's corner calls for a 1-2. Fonald obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Fonald rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hall moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hall jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Fonald tries a quick counter leg kick but Hall is wise to it.
Fonald works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Fonald tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hall manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Fonald misses with an uppercut. Hall saw that one coming.
Good shot there by Fonald.
Hall misses the jab.
Fonald misses with a straight left.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hall fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Fonald doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Hall avoids a punch combination nicely.
Fonald fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Hall on the side of the head.
Fonald jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Fonald just misses with a punch to the body.
Hall went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Hall changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Fonald moves into the clinch successfully.
Hall struggles to land a body shot inside as Fonald controls his hands.
Fonald manages to break the clinch.
Hall tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Hall moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Hall fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Fonald on the side of the head.
Hall misses with a few strikes there.
Fonald lands a head shot.
Fonald lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Hall backs up against the cage.

A telegraphed right hand from Hall misses the target.
Hall pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Fonald! But no joy.
Fonald looks to throw the jab but Hall is out of range.
As Fonald looks to move away, Hall throws a big counter combo but Fonald just gets out of the way.

Fonald throws a lazy right hand but Hall sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Fonald buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hall throws a big shot that misses.

Fonald rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hall moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Fonald lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Fonald fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Hall stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Fonald.
Fonald scores with a sloppy right hand. Hall should have avoided that one.
Fonald lands a really nice looking cross but Hall seems unphased.
A jab from Fonald misses.
Hall ducks under a wild hook from Fonald.
Fonald has taken the fight to the clinch.
Hall tries to throw a body punch but Fonald avoids it by throwing Hall back against the cage.
A right hook to the body lands for Hall.
Hall scores with a shot to the side of Fonald's head.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Fonald is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Hall is keeping busy.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Donald Fonald dominated that round.

Hall lands a big right hand that sends Fonald crashing to the mat! Hall stays standing though and waves Fonald back to his feet!
It looks like Donald Fonald has been cut.
Hall uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Fonald.
Hall cracks Fonald with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Fonald falls to his knees and Hall doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ryan Hall!
