The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcia throws a jab but it's blocked by Simone.
A left lands for Simone.

It looks like Diego Garcia has been cut.

Simone takes the fight into the clinch.
A short uppercut from Simone.
Garcia wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Simone has him pressed against the cage.
Garcia lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Simone lands a right hand that snaps the head of Garcia backwards.
Simone is working Garcia over against the cage.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Simone creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Garcia is trying to stall.

Garcia is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Garcia seems a little flustered. He's come in with the intention of controlling the clinch but Simone is preventing him from doing so, at least for the moment.

Simone lands with a right to the head.
Oh Garcia is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Simone unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Garcia! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Simone is unloading with more strikes now! Garcia drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
