Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Emory Terranova (ranked 2925 p4p, 153 weight class) and Mike Okafor (ranked 6212 p4p, 245 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, David Hoff and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okafor throws a looping overhand right but Terranova ducks down to avoid it.
Okafor has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Terranova is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Okafor gets tackled into the cage by Terranova. Terranova maintains the clinch.
Okafor looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Okafor wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Okafor is trying to break free.
Terranova has Okafor pressed against the cage, preventing Okafor from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Terranova changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Okafor fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Okafor avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Okafor scores with a punch to the head.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Okafor lands with an uppercut that bounces Terranova off the cage and back into range.
Terranova looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Okafor!
Terranova has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Okafor!
Terranova is working for a guillotine from mount but Okafor frees his head quite easily.

Terranova is standing up, even though he is in mount.
Terranova seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Terranova slips under a jab from Okafor.
Terranova tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Okafor manages to circle out of the way.
Okafor connects with a single shot there.
Okafor takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Okafor scores with a jab to the head.
Okafor lands a slapping body shot.
Terranova gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Okafor has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Okafor lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Terranova looks to land a right hand but Okafor moved out of range.
Okafor fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Terranova misses with a series of wild punches.
Terranova drops his hands momentarily and Okafor takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Terranova is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Okafor drops Terranova with a huge uppercut! Terranova drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Okafor is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mike Okafor!
Mike Okafor seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
The defeated Emory Terranova had this to say: 'Rough, but I still get to go home, kiss my wife, hug my kids, and crack open a beer. This isn't my last rodeo. '.
