Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

Mamba lands a lovely overhand right.
Mamba tries to keep at a distance but Bear has taken the fight into the clinch.
Mamba has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
I was talking to Bear's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Mamba is fighting off a takedown attempt but Bear is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Mamba to the mat. Mamba regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Bear throws a strike but Mamba rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Bear looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Mamba passes into half guard.
Mamba decides to return to a standing position.
Mamba scores with a punch to the head.
A low kick lands for Mamba.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mamba lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Bear moves forwards but Mamba connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Mamba throws out a counter right but Bear avoids it with no problem.
Mamba ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Mamba lands a nice hook to Bear's body. Bear takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Mamba cracks a nice hook into Bear's ribs.
Bear motions for Mamba to come forward. Bear throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Bear throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Mamba lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Bear fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bear throws a hook but Mamba avoids it easily.
Mamba lands a nice leg kick that just misses Bear's sensitive parts.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mamba connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Mamba slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Chief Bear seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mamba throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Mamba has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Bear is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Mamba throws a nice looking combination but Bear bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Mamba lands a left and a right that send Bear crashing to the mat, dazed. Mamba thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Bear is rocked!
Mamba walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Bear drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Mamba swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Bear's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Black Mamba!
