Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rickson Silva (ranked 781 p4p, 2383 weight class) and Emil Marek (ranked 103 p4p, 295 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Silva might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to URSO O INVENCÍVEL. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Silva feints and then cracks Marek's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Marek down.
Marek throws a body shot but no joy.
Silva closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Marek quickly recovers to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Silva tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Silva has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Silva scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Marek is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Silva can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
