Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Darko Lujivic (ranked 2928 p4p, 4040 weight class) and Andrew Perez (ranked 323 p4p, 400 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Darko Lujivic has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Darko Lujivic seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Andrew Perez!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Trevor Gratis and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lujivic misses with a few strikes there.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Perez has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Lujivic fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Perez sprawls well initially but Lujivic persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Lujivic stalling away here and it's allowed Perez to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Lujivic wants to stand but Perez is controlling his posture from full guard.
Perez pulls Lujivic in close to prevent any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Perez pushes a forearm under Lujivic's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Lujivic is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
