Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hugh Jackmen (ranked 1830 p4p, 4112 weight class) and Phil Bellamy (ranked 260 p4p, 483 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Hugh Jackmen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Phil Bellamy! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Bellamy keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
And Bellamy tries to counter it with a takedown but Jackmen pushes his down on his head and steps out. Jackmen misses with a lunging right hand
and Bellamy counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bellamy with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Bellamy controlling from the top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jackmen is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Jackmen looking for subs off his back but Bellamy has passed one foot through into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackmen is looking for a sweep. Bellamy is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Bellamy looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Bellamy lands a nice short elbow. Bellamy looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Bellamy is nestled in close to Jackmen, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Jackmen taking some punishment here, with Bellamy in his half guard. Bellamy tries to pass to full mount but Jackmen defends it. Bellamy is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jackmen doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Bellamy. Jackmen pushes Bellamy off but Bellamy dives into side control.
Bellamy in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bellamy is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Jackmen looks calm but he's in trouble here. Bellamy gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Jackmen is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Bellamy lets go of the hold and Jackmen can pop his arm back in it's socket.
