Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Herritt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pierre comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Indestructable by Disturbed kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Matt Pierre looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ryan Herritt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Matt Pierre!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pierre tries to close the distance and clinch up but Herritt swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Horrible takedown by Pierre or perhaps it was just good defense by Herritt which made him look bad.
Herritt fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Pierre sprawls well initially but Herritt persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Herritt throws a strike but Pierre avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Herritt throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Herritt looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Herritt throws a big right hand that misses.
Pierre working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Herritt.
Herritt throwing strikes from guard but Pierre blocks nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Herritt missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Pierre keeping moving, preventing Herritt from controlling successfully.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Herritt misses with a wild body shot.
Herritt shoots and misses
and Pierre counters with a nice double leg into side control. Herritt won't be happy with that.
Pierre blocks the strikes from Herritt.
Herritt wants to control but Pierre postures up.
Herritt trying to control but Pierre flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!
Herritt can't escape the position.

Herritt rolls, trying to escape but Pierre keeps control of the position.
Herritt trying to get back to his feet but Pierre is in full control for now.
Herritt is breathing heavily.
Pierre is persistently looking for the submission but Herritt is defending it well.
Herritt can't escape the position.
Pierre has got one arm under Herritt's chin. This could be trouble... Herritt trying to control the other hand but Pierre gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Herritt has tapped out! The fight is over!
