Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Canberra Ultra (ranked 4758 p4p, 7335 weight class) and Yok Tse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tse has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Yok Tse has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Canberra Ultra! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Yok Tse! The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Donatello Bradman and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ultra looks to clinch and Tse makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Ultra takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Tse looks winded! Ultra tries to grapple but his opponent circles letting Tse counter with a right hand. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Tse has eaten all the pies! Ultra throws a leg kick that is checked and Tse counters with a stiff right hand. Ultra avoids the body shot from Tse.
Ultra misses with a takedown and Tse counters with a nice body shot. Ultra shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Tse makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A solid body kick from Tse. Ultra takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Ultra fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Tse, pushing him back against the cage. Ultra is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Tse is keeping busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ultra blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Tse misses with a body punch.
Ultra fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Canberra Ultra. That's going to take a lot out of him. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Tse. Ultra wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Tse is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Tse throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Tse tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Ultra throws a knee to the head but misses.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Tse. Tse keeps control of Ultra as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Ultra misses with a hook from the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tse fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Ultra tries to circle away but Tse has him pinned against the cage. Ultra wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
A short body shot lands from Tse as the two fighters clinch.
Ultra is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Tse pulls him back up using the underhooks. Ultra is trying to break the clinch but Tse has him pressed against the cage. Ultra jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Tse walks away with a smile on his face. Ultra gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Ultra throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Tse throws a big counter head kick but Ultra avoids it with no problem. Ultra clinches up with Tse and pushes him back against the cage. Tse presses Ultra against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Tse is working Ultra over against the cage. Ultra wants a takedown but no success here.
Tse stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Ultra is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Tse is defending well. Ultra looking to stall.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ultra is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Tse tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Tse stalling.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Tse. A battle for position here, against the cage. Tse misses with a body punch.
Ultra fails to pull guard.
Ultra prevents a body shot from Tse. Tse stalling in the clinch.
Ultra tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Tse smiles and moves away.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ultra is defended easily by Tse.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tse stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tse wants it to stay on the feet. Tse throws a counter combo. Nice jab there from Tse. Tse scoring well with a low kick there.
Ultra blocks a low kick nicely. Ultra loads up on a big right hand but Tse slips the punch. Ultra is looking to clinch. Ultra has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Tse. A good leg kick by Tse. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Tse uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ultra.
Yok Tse is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A slapping leg kick lands for Tse.
Tse circles away from the clinch attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Yok Tse dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Ultra tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tse swats him away and circles back towards the center. No luck for Ultra with that takedown attempt. Tse moves out of range of the body kick from Ultra.
Tse dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Ultra. That did some damage! Ultra shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Tse sprawls well. Tse wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ultra gets slowly back to his feet. We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Tse in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. Ultra tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Tse manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ultra throws a right and a left that Tse avoids nicely. Ultra shoots in for a takedown but Tse shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Canberra Ultra. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tse is breathing heavily. Ultra tries for a takedown but Tse sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Tse steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. Ultra misses with a takedown attempt - Tse sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Tse appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tse looks to land a right hand but Ultra moved out of range. Ultra went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Ultra looks to clinch and Tse counters with a low kick, right behind Ultra 's knee. Tse displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ultra. Ultra tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Tse defends well and Ultra ends up having to push Tse into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Ultra misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Ultra tries for a takedown but Tse circles away easily and Tse counters with a lovely straight right hand! Ultra doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Ultra tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Tse makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ultra throws a leg kick that is checked and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Ultra closes the distance looking to clinch and Tse counters with a good, hard body kick but Ultra shrugs it off. Ultra wants to clinch but Tse slips to the side and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Ultra moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. A clash of legs there as Ultra blocks the low kick. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tse lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Tse has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Tse misses with an attempted mid kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ultra fails miserably with a takedown attempt. A low kick from Tse is predictable there and Ultra counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Ultra tries to clinch there but Tse circles away.
Ultra tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Ultra tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tse paws at him with a jab and circles away. Tse walks into a jab. Tse takes a body punch but keeps moving. Ultra moves into the clinch successfully.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Tse goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Tse has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Ultra seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Tse can turn it around. Tse misses with a body punch.

Yok Tse showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Ultra shoots in and drives through. Tse sprawls well. Tse throws a nice inside leg kick. Tse tries to keep at a distance but Ultra has taken the fight into the clinch. Ultra is working for takedown but Tse is calmly controlling the position for now. Tse pushes Ultra back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Tse misses with a hook to the ribs.

That's one minute gone in the round. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Ultra. Tse is trying to counter with his kicks. Ultra is trying hard to land a takedown here. Tse sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Tse swats away the attempt to clinch by Ultra. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ultra is defended easily by Tse. Tse steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. Tse with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A head kick misses from Ultra. Ultra on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Ultra shoots in for a double leg but Tse sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Tse fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Tse connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Ultra throws a head kick but Tse moves out of range.

That kick from Tse tenderised Ultra's leg. Ultra is trying to keep his angry face on. Yok Tse seems to be getting the better of the standup. Ultra tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tse swats him away and circles back towards the center. Tse scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Ultra shoots in looking for a takedown but Tse manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ultra's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ultra is trying hard to land a takedown here. Tse sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Ultra doesn't succeed with the takedown and Tse counters with an inside leg kick. Crunch! Tse slams his shin into Ultra's torso. Tse throws a lazy body kick and Ultra counters with a three punch combo that has Tse backing up. Tse nods at Ultra to acknowledge the strikes. Ultra moves to clinch but Tse breaks away and Tse counters with a one-two to the body. Ultra tries to clinch but Tse is having none of it. Ultra tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tse swats him away and circles back towards the center. Tse avoids a kick to the body.
Tse now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Ultra wants to clinch and Tse makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Ultra really felt that one!
That's four minutes gone in the round. No luck with that takedown attempt from Ultra. And Tse responds with a good body kick, but Ultra manages to step out the way in time. Tse moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Ultra fails with the takedown. Ultra tries for a takedown but Tse sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ultra tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Tse defends well and Ultra ends up having to push Tse into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Tse misses with a body shot.
Canberra Ultra has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Yok Tse is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The fight moves into the clinch position.
And that's the end of the fight! Yok Tse comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Tse has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Yok Tse! Yok Tse really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Fenrir Fightgear - Anno 2013 logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
