Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Penko Penev (ranked 6092 p4p, 562 weight class) and John Mongrel (ranked 7256 p4p, 612 weight class). Penko Penev has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penev moves in looking to clinch but Mongrel pushes him off.
Mongrel looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Penev looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Mongrel unleashes a big counter combination but Penev bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Penev tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Mongrel defends well and Penev ends up having to push Mongrel into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
