Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Mack (ranked 3333 p4p, 335 weight class) and Raitis Ivanans (ranked 3423 p4p, 343 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frank Mack! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Raitis Ivanans! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Dean Styles and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ivanans fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Mack to the ground. Ivanans is now in Mack's guard. Mack is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Ivanans must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Mack keeping full guard, as Ivanans tries to pass. Ivanans controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Ivanans lands a couple of elbows. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mack isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Ivanans stacks Mack on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Ivanans! Ivanans is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mack is looking for a sweep. The referee asks Ivanans politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Ivanans prefers to stall for the moment though. Mack looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Ivanans's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Mack is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Ivanans content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Ivanans decides to take the fight back to the feet. Ivanans shoots in and bounces Mack off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Ivanans stands and throws Mack's legs to the side, diving into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ivanans scores with punches from side control. Mack is trying to control Ivanans's posture but Ivanans avoids it. Ivanans working the ground and pound. Mack prevents Ivanans from improving position. Mack manages to get back to half guard. Ivanans scoring with strikes to the body and head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mack trying to hold on to Ivanans's head to control him but Ivanans postures up.
Ivanans tries to pass to full mount but Mack defends it. Ivanans with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Mack trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Ivanans manages to pass to mount!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Ivanans goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Mack is on top in guard.
Mack wants to pass the guard but Ivanans is keeping the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Raitis Ivanans dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Ivanans takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Ivanans shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ivanans showed some decent athleticism there. Ivanans throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Ivanans takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mack is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Ivanans pulls his head out easily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mack tries to roll over but Ivanans keeps him under control. Ivanans looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Mack is trying to maintain the position but Ivanans is very close to passing his half guard. Mack wants to stand back up but Ivanans manages to pass into side control.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Ivanans. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Ivanans working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Ivanans working the body and head with strikes. Mack is being controlled here. Ivanans has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Ivanans wants to clinch. Raitis Ivanans is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Ivanans shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mack pinned against the cage. Mack gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mack digs a good hook to Ivanans's body.
Ivanans is breathing heavily. Ivanans shoots for a takedown but Mack saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Mack tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Ivanans shoots in looking for a takedown. Mack tries to sprawl out of it but Ivanans keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mack manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Frank Mack has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Raitis Ivanans. Mack lands with a kick to the ribs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mack throws a quick inside leg kick. Frank Mack is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Mack misses with a head kick.
Ivanans with a poor takedown and Mack counters with a slapping leg kick. Ivanans is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Mack throws a wild body kick that Ivanans sees coming a mile off. Mack throws a leg kick but Ivanans sees it coming and moves out of range. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ivanans is defended easily by Mack. Mack feinted there with a counter leg kick. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mack scores with a kick to the midsection. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frank Mack dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Mack ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ivanans moves away. Ivanans shoots in and bounces Mack off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Mack looking to control.
Ivanans trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Mack escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ivanans gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mack manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ivanans manages to get himself to full guard.
Ivanans is trying to hold Mack in close to prevent damage but Mack has managed to pass into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mack is working for a submission of some sort.
Mack is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Ivanans! Mack can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Ivanans is looking to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Ivanans tries to lock up and control but Mack gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Mack tries to control but Ivanans wriggling away. Ivanans is trying to escape the mount.
Mack looking to control but Ivanans is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Ivanans tries to get back to half guard but can't. Ivanans takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mack wants to control the action but instead Ivanans gets a body lock and reverses into Mack's guard! Nice work! Mack wants to control but Ivanans passes easily into half guard.
Ivanans performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Ivanans wants to take a breather but Mack is having none of it. Mack gets back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mack throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Ivanans looking to pass the guard. Mack is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mack is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Ivanans is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Frank Mack. I think Mack has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by split decision... Frank Mack! In his post fight interview, Frank Mack started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
