Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Faustino Asprilla (ranked 4331 p4p, 156 weight class) and Lee Clark (ranked 4550 p4p, 172 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Paul Tew and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clark with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Clark throws a right and a left that Asprilla avoids nicely.
Asprilla connects with a looping right hand.
A shot to the liver by Clark. Beautiful body shot.
Clark is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Asprilla.
Asprilla throwing a counter right hand but Clark manages to avoid it.
Clark misses with an uppercut. Asprilla saw that one coming.
It looked like Asprilla wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Asprilla moves forwards but Clark connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Clark uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Asprilla.
No joy there for Asprilla, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Asprilla rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Clark moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Clark.
Clark digs a right hand underneath Asprilla's ribcage. Asprilla let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Clark has a couple of punches blocked by Asprilla.
Clark pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Asprilla moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

and Asprilla counters with a straight right hand.

Asprilla tries to bum rush Clark with a series of wild strikes but Clark uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

The fighters circling - Clark throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Asprilla rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Clark cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Asprilla pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Clark back to the ropes. Asprilla follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Asprilla tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Clark was well out of range. Poor timing from Asprilla.
Clark connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Asprilla momentarily.
Nice uppercut lands for Asprilla. That snapped Clark's head back.
Clark throws a hook to the side of Asprilla's head but Asprilla sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Clark darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Asprilla's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Clark before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Lee Clark!
Lee Clark tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
