Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alan Gramme (ranked 6623 p4p, 5831 weight class) and Chris Morton (ranked 602 p4p, 572 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Alan Gramme! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chris Morton! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck with that takedown attempt from Morton. Gramme has closed the distance and engaged Morton in a clinch.
Morton blocks an elbow strike from Gramme.
Morton tries for a takedown but Gramme manages to get underhooks.
Gramme lands with a right to the head. Morton drops down looking for an ankle pick but Gramme pulls his leg out and moves away.
Alan Gramme has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Morton. Morton fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gramme throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Morton is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Morton has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Gramme. Gramme lands a nice looking body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gramme throws a nice looking combination but Morton bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Morton fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Gramme clinches up against the cage. Morton is looking for a takedown. Morton has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Gramme is trying to keep an underhook but Morton manages to get the takedown into half guard. Morton is looking for a kimura here.
Gramme is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Morton's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Morton's back! Gramme is looking for the choke from the back position but Morton is controlling his hands well. Morton is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gramme cracks Morton with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Morton from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! I really don't envy Morton right now.
Gramme is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Morton just trying to survive but Gramme is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Morton tries to escape but Gramme has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Gramme lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Gramme working for the choke. Gramme tries to keep control of the position but Morton is staying busy. Gramme is trying to stick to Morton's back but Morton is turning into Gramme. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Gramme's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Morton. Gramme working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Morton doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Morton manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Morton drops back looking for a leg! Gramme is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gramme manages to kick Morton off! Morton jumps back into Gramme's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Morton has gone for a leg lock! Gramme slips out almost immediately though and dives into Morton's guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Morton has his feet on Gramme's thighs here. He's pushed Gramme off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Gramme screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
