Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Red Fox (ranked 1348 p4p, 80 weight class) and Little Kitty Sripituksakul (ranked 492 p4p, 28 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Fox might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to TONIGHT IS MY NIGHT. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Red Fox! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Little Kitty Sripituksakul! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Chris Saunders and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jab by Sripituksakul. Sripituksakul moves out of range as Fox strikes. Sripituksakul connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Fox moves forwards but Sripituksakul connects with a nice, crisp jab. Sripituksakul throws a shot to the body.
Sripituksakul jabs at Fox's body. Sripituksakul lands a slapping body shot.
Fox misses with a two punch combination.
Sripituksakul looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Sripituksakul moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Fox closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Sripituksakul uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Fox has time to react. Fox takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Fox throws a hook but Sripituksakul blocks it. Sripituksakul feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Foxs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Sripituksakul scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Fox doesn't seem bothered though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sripituksakul connects with a body shot that sends Fox's belly button to the back. Sripituksakul displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Fox throws out the jab. Sripituksakul scores with a hook to the body. Fox takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Sripituksakul has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Fox is landing a low percentage of strikes. Fox scores with a hook. Nice body punch from Sripituksakul. Sripituksakul jabs Fox to the body, keeping him at a distance. Sripituksakul lands a right hook to the body.
Red Fox is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Sripituksakul tests Fox's chin there with a solid looking shot. Fox gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Fox wants to stand but Sripituksakul is controlling the position. Fox knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sripituksakul on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sripituksakul content to stall in guard here. Sripituksakul passes Fox's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Fox blocking the ground and pound attempt from Sripituksakul. Sripituksakul working Fox over with strikes. Fox is looking for a sweep. Sripituksakul is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Sripituksakul is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! Sripituksakul landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sripituksakul content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Fox gets full guard. Sripituksakul sitting in guard, not really doing much. Fox wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Sripituksakul content to stall in guard here. Fox tries to land a sweep but no joy. Sripituksakul lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Fox preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Sripituksakul content to stall in guard here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Sripituksakul postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Sripituksakul slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Sripituksakul won't allow Fox to get back to his feet. Sripituksakul is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Fox wants to stand and escape but Sripituksakul is having none of it. Sripituksakul controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Little Kitty Sripituksakul dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Sripituksakul connects with the punch. Fox takes a shot right to the bread basket. A lazy left from Fox finds it's target. Sripituksakul wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Fox looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Fox walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Fox throws an ugly left hook that misses
letting Sripituksakul counter with a right hand. Fox on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Fox pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Sripituksakul lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Fox takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A swing and a miss from Fox. Sripituksakul throws a right hand that Fox ducks under and follows up with a left that Fox also avoids with ease. Sripituksakul fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sripituksakul slips under a jab from Fox. Sripituksakul scores with a hook. Little Kitty Sripituksakul seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sripituksakul takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Fox loads up on a big right hand but Sripituksakul slips the punch. A shot to the liver by Sripituksakul. Beautiful body shot. Fox looks to land a left hand but Sripituksakul moved out of range nicely. Fox takes a shot right to the bread basket. Sripituksakul misses with a wild combination.
Sripituksakul has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Fox moves forwards but Sripituksakul connects with a nice, crisp jab. Fox throws a shot from downtown. Sripituksakul moves away and avoids it. It seemed like Sripituksakul was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Fox is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Nice defenses there by Sripituksakul. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Sripituksakul! But no joy.

Little Kitty Sripituksakul seems to be getting the better of the standup. Sripituksakul scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Fox looks to land a left hand but Sripituksakul moved out of range nicely. Sripituksakul manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Fox on his heels. He'll look to pass Fox's guard now, I'm sure. Fox wants to stand up but Sripituksakul is controlling him. Sripituksakul passes easily into side control. Nice work. Fox is looking for a sweep. Fox is pushing Sripituksakul's head away, looking to escape. Sripituksakul manages to hold on to the position though. Sripituksakul content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

A very excited looking Little Kitty Sripituksakul made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction. In defeat, Red Fox stepped up to the mic, saying 'I got robbed i want a rematch '.
