Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between h joe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cadogan Seren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Seren is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Fever Ray - Keep The Streets Empty For Me. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seren scores a takedown into full mount!
Seren looking to control but joe is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
joe manages to regain half guard. Good work.
joe is staying active underneath Seren, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Seren really doesn't want to stay on the ground with joe. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee asks Seren politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Seren prefers to stall for the moment though.

Seren manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Seren has joe up against the cage in a clinch.
Seren escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Seren shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
joe working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Seren doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Seren manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Seren gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Seren tries a low kick but joe avoids it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Seren clinches up with joe and pushes him back against the cage.

Seren tightens his grip and picks joe up, before dumping him to the ground. joe manages to land in guard.

Cadogan Seren has got the better of the ground game so far.
joe has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Seren can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Seren trying to control but joe is working from the bottom.
Seren stands up over joe, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Seren controlling from the top position.
Seren gets to his feet. joe looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Seren drives through with a takedown into guard.

Seren slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
joe is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Seren's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Seren wants to stand but joe has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
joe has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Seren. Oh but joe has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Seren goes limp - he's gone! joe jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
