PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marco Paris (ranked 5646 p4p, 5510 weight class) and Ronaldo Mussa (ranked 598 p4p, 590 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Marco Blurström and Johanna Lukiainen.

Paris clinches with his opponent.
Mussa tries a body shot but Paris blocks it.

Paris pulls guard successfully.
Paris is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Paris is nestled in close to Mussa, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Mussa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Paris. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Paris seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Paris's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Paris cracks Mussa with a big right hand but Mussa just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That has opened up Ronaldo Mussa's cut even more.
Mussa takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Paris's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
