Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hadecki Matsui!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Wagner Zegers and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jukola avoids a punch combination nicely.
Matsui throws a right hand that Jukola ducks under and follows up with a left that Jukola also avoids with ease.
Jukola ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Jukola loads up on a big right hand but Matsui slips the punch.
Jukola lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Matsui at a distance.

Jukola scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Matsui takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Matsui avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Jukola.
Jukola lands some shots froms side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jukola controls the position from side control.

Jukola looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Matsui is avoiding damage well.
Jukola sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Matsui is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Jukola throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Jukola is looking to take a break and control but Matsui is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Matsui can do anything to dispel that myth.

Jukola is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Matsui has escaped the position, nice work there.
Jukola slows the pace down.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Jukola looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Jukola is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Matsui knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Jukola throws a strike aimed at the side of Matsui's head but Matsui avoids it well.
Matsui avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Jukola.

Jukola tries to score with some ground and pound. Matsui controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Jukola wants to lay and pray for a moment but Matsui keeps working.

Jukola is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Matsui is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Jukola lands a nice forearm strike.
We've been hearing that Jukola has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jukola misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sloppy strikes there by Jukola.
Matsui is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Jukola asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Jukola has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Matsui is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Jukola yanks on the arm and Matsui is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Jukola.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Eero Jukola!
Hadecki Matsui spoke after the fight, saying 'A man can be destroyed but not defeated... I will pickup the pieces that I learned today and will grow from it.'.
