Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Anti Happy (ranked 2412 p4p, 3094 weight class) and Wilfred Keter (ranked 230 p4p, 293 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Happy might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Bvana iz lagune & Mikri Maus - AntiHepi. Anti Happy has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Anti Happy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Wilfred Keter!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Keter keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Happy shoots in for a double leg but Keter sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Keter has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Happy shoots in for a takedown but Keter shows good takedown defense.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anti Happy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Keter turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Happy shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Happy showed some decent athleticism there.
Keter pushes Happy off looking to stand but Happy dives back in and keeps control.
Happy wants to take a breather but Keter is having none of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Keter is looking to improve his position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Happy is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Keter to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.
Happy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Keter swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Happy showing good wrestling skills to control the position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Happy trying to control but Keter is working from the bottom.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Happy on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Happy is defended easily by Keter.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Keter lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Happy has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Happy and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Happy ducks right into an uppercut from Keter.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Happy takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Keter - that will leave a mark!
Happy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Keter's waist but Keter gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Happy off to one side.
Keter connects with a solid leg kick.
Keter with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
A head kick misses from Keter.

Happy drives through with a takedown into Keter's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Keter wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Happy trying to control but Keter is working from the bottom.
Happy won't allow Keter to sweep him here.
Keter is pulling down on Happy's head to control his posture.

Happy trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Keter has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Happy has passed into side control.
A lull in the action here.
Happy is looking to take a break and control but Keter is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
We've been hearing that Happy has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Keter wants to control but Happy postures up.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Keter tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Happy wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wilfred Keter dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Keter connects with a good right hand that stumbles Happy. Happy circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Happy goes for a double leg but Keter avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Keter continues to drive forward.
Happy fails with the takedown.
Keter throws a head kick but Happy moves out of range.

Happy shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Keter's guard.

Keter has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Keter keeping moving, preventing Happy from controlling successfully.

Keter can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Happy controls the pace.

Happy with a flurry of punches that miss.
Happy slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Keter wants to control but Happy postures up.

Happy tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Happy has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Happy is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Keter is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Happy trying to control the position but Keter is working away.

Happy wants to take a breather but Keter manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Happy.
Happy lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Keter pulls Happy in close to his closed guard and prevents Happy from doing any damage or advancing position.
Keter is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Happy sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Keter's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Keter tries to get to full guard but Happy has control of the leg.
Happy thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Keter's head.
Anti Happy overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Keter trying to control but Happy postures up.

Happy is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Keter defends it well.
Happy not doing much here.

Happy looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Keter is looking for a sweep. Happy is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Happy not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Happy seems to be looking for submissions.
Keter is trying to get back to full guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Happy is working for a submission of some sort.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Anti Happy dominated that second round.
That's time! Happy's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Keter lands the left hand.
Keter scores with a head kick.
Happy looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Keter connects with a looping right hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Keter tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Happy tries to clinch up but Keter circles away and keeps his distance.
Keter lands a glancing blow to the side of Happy's head.
Nice uppercut there from Keter.
Keter scoring well with a low kick there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Keter throws a quick inside leg kick.
Keter throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Happy fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Happy with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Keter to score with a decent uppercut.
That kick from Keter tenderised Happy's leg. Happy is trying to keep his angry face on.

Happy closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Keter's guard.
Keter trying to keep a closed guard but Happy is proving a slippery customer.
Happy's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Happy drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Keter manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Happy has Keter in his guard.

Happy had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Keter defends it easily.
Keter pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Happy is keeping the position for now.

Happy is looking to control Keter's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Happy avoid being mounted?
Keter prevents Happy from improving his position.
Happy is refusing to be controlled, as Keter sits in half guard.

Happy is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Keter pulls his head out easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Happy looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Keter with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Happy tries to roll over but Keter keeps him under control.
Happy is working hard here to advance position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Happy trying to control but Keter postures up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

And that's the end of the fight!
Wilfred Keter comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Keter has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
