Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Monte Zuma Jr. (ranked 1486 p4p, 1172 weight class) and Jackson Storm (ranked 197 p4p, 161 weight class). Zuma Jr. comes into the arena with Spider Man blaring out of the sound system. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Monte Zuma Jr.! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jackson Storm! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Shimada and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zuma Jr. closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Zuma Jr. is working for a kimura but Storm is defending it quite comfortably.
Zuma Jr. is pressing down on Storm's thigh, looking to free his foot. Storm is holding on for now. Zuma Jr. is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Storm sees it coming and defends easily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Storm is looking to control Zuma Jr.'s leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Storm avoid being mounted? Zuma Jr. not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Storm trying to control from the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Zuma Jr. goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Storm has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Zuma Jr. but great work by Storm. Zuma Jr. is looking to reverse the position. Zuma Jr. gets back to half guard. Storm controlling the action here. Zuma Jr. looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Storm prevents Zuma Jr. from improving his position. Zuma Jr. looking for submissions off his back. Zuma Jr. is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zuma Jr. looking for submissions off his back. Storm trying to control the pace. Zuma Jr. has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Storm is working away from the top position though. Zuma Jr. wants to get back to full guard. Zuma Jr. actively working from the bottom here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Zuma Jr. regains full guard. Nicely done.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Zuma Jr. is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Zuma Jr. is looking for a kimura but Storm is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Zuma Jr. to get the leverage. Zuma Jr. is working for a kimura here but Storm manages to reverse the position and he's now in Zuma Jr.'s guard.
Storm is stalling in the full guard. Zuma Jr. working a defensive guard but Storm passes into half guard.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Storm content to stall in guard here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Monte Zuma Jr. dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Jab, jab by Storm - just one landing. Storm lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Zuma Jr. shoots in but no luck this time. Zuma Jr. slips a jab from Storm. Horrible takedown attempt by Zuma Jr. or perhaps it was just good defense by Storm, which made it look bad. Jackson Storm seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Storm connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Zuma Jr. momentarily.

Zuma Jr. tries to counter with a takedown but Storm is quick to defend against it. Storm finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Storm digs a good body shot into Zuma Jr.'s ribs. Zuma Jr. shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Storm pinned against the cage. Storm gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Monte Zuma Jr.. That's going to take a lot out of him. Zuma Jr. shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Storm defends it nicely. Zuma Jr. tries to clinch but Storm moves out of range. Storm bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Jab by Storm.
It looks like Monte Zuma Jr. has been cut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Zuma Jr.. Storm scores with a jab. Zuma Jr. acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Storm throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Zuma Jr. on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Storm lands a jab. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Storm cracks a nice hook into Zuma Jr.'s ribs. A slow jab from Storm misses its intended target. Decent striking displayed by Storm there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Storm closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Zuma Jr.! Storm dives in looking to finish! Zuma Jr. is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jackson Storm! Jackson Storm decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little. Monte Zuma Jr. spoke after the fight, saying 'Stubbed toe....'.
