Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

Magrin tries to clinch up but Taylor circles away and keeps his distance.

Taylor can't find room to land a body shot as Magrin controls the action.

Magrin jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Taylor walks away with a smile on his face. Magrin gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Taylor's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Magrin takes one on the button.
Taylor uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

The fight stays on the outside here - Magrin looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Magrin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Taylor swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Taylor makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Taylor is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Magrin rather than just go for the knockout.
Magrin moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Taylor throws a leg kick which misses Magrin's front leg but catches the back leg as Magrin tries to avoid it.

Meldrick Taylor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Magrin tries to clinch up but Taylor circles away and keeps his distance.
Taylor lands with an overhand left.
Taylor lands a jab to Magrin's midsection.
Taylor has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Magrin is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Taylor cracks Magrin with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Taylor feints a jab promting Magrin to slip. Taylor then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Magrin slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Magrin moves into the clinch.
Taylor misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Magrin's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Taylor has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Taylor tries to throw a body punch but Magrin avoids it by throwing Taylor back against the cage.
Taylor pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

letting Taylor counter with a right hand.

Taylor scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Taylor blocks a head kick by Magrin.
Taylor dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Taylor circles away from the clinch attempt
and Taylor cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Magrin fails with an attempt to clinch.
Taylor misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Magrin.
Taylor pushes Magrin away with a front kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Meldrick Taylor dominated that round.

Magrin tries to clinch up but Taylor circles away and keeps his distance.

Magrin on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Taylor has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Taylor lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Magrin walks into a jab.
Magrin is looking to clinch but Taylor is avoiding it.
Taylor connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Magrin's hands.
Taylor lands a jab to the head.
Magrin is rocked!
Magrin moves in looking to clinch but Taylor pushes him off.
Oh Magrin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Magrin takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Taylor walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Magrin drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Taylor swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Magrin's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Meldrick Taylor!
