PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Titus Fury (ranked 3954 p4p, 3262 weight class) and Mike Bard (ranked 449 p4p, 382 weight class). Fury kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Kid CuDi - "Pursuit of Happiness (Stevé Aoki Remix)". Titus Fury has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Fury drives through and clinches with Bard against the cage.

Bard jumps guard but Fury stands there with Bard around his waist. Bard gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Fury lands with a short shot to the head.

Bard manages to break the clinch.
Fury jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Fury takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Bard bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Bard throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Fury displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bard throws out the jab.

Fury shoots in looking for a takedown but Bard manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Fury's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Fury changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bard looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

That was a close round but I would say that Titus Fury will probably get the nod.

Fury drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Fury jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
