Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jamal Jameson (ranked 2417 p4p, 270 weight class) and Carlos Rogan (ranked 4519 p4p, 429 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jamal Jameson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Carlos Rogan!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jameson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rogan as he jumps to the side.
Rogan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jameson manages to avoid it.
Rogan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jameson but Jameson pushes him off and we're back to square one.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

My spies in Special Ops N7 Training inform me that Rogan has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Jameson seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rogan wants to control but Jameson is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Jameson is trying to control. Rogan wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Jameson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Rogan with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Rogan is looking for a sweep. Jameson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Rogan keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jamal Jameson will probably get the nod.

Jameson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Rogan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Rogan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jameson but Jameson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
No joy there for Jameson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rogan swings for the body but Jameson moves out of range.

Jameson feints and as Rogan raises his hands in defense, Jameson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Jameson is looking to stand up but Rogan won't let him.
Jameson slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

I would just about give that final round to Carlos Rogan.
I think Rogan has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
