Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ieuan Thomas (ranked 3311 p4p, 24817 weight class) and Abunazir Kindzal (ranked 301 p4p, 550 weight class). Thomas keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Thomas throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Despite the aggression on Kindzal's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Kindzal throws a low kick, looking for Thomas's leg but Thomas calmly moves out of range.
Thomas fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Kindzal to the ground. Thomas is now in Kindzal's guard.
Thomas is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Thomas drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Kindzal dives on top into guard.
Thomas working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kindzal doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Thomas is tightening it up a little... Kindzal has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Kindzal reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Kindzal taps out! Nice BJJ there by Thomas!
