Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jake Mount (ranked 3091 p4p, 7303 weight class) and Brad Markzov (ranked 389 p4p, 701 weight class). Markzov is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Enter Sandman - Metallica. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brad Markzov!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Wagner Zegers and Daniel Blasius.

Markzov closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mount to the mat! Mount manages to get full guard.
Markzov landing with the ground and pound.
Markzov passes into half guard.
Mount has hold of Markzov's hands but Markzov slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Markzov working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Mount's thigh. Mount counters though and makes it back to full guard.
Mount has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Markzov can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Markzov told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Markzov wants to control from the top but Mount keeps moving.
Mount definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Markzov slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Markzov is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Mount taking some punishment here, with Markzov in his half guard.
Markzov drops an elbow to the side of Mount's head.
Markzov lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Markzov looking for a submission but Mount manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.

Mount looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Markzov looking to sit in guard and control but Mount gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Markzov looking for a sweep. Not yet Markzov, not yet.
Mount throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Markzov has Mount pulled in close to control his posture.
Markzov wants to sweep but no luck.

Markzov trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Markzov utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Mount throwing strikes but missing.
Mount avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Mount is fighting to break Markzov's control of his arms but Markzov is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Markzov is continuing to stall.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Mount trying to control the position from guard on top but Markzov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Nice takedown defense from Mount. No joy for Markzov on that attempt.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
A nice leg kick lands there from Mount.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Mount scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Jake Mount seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mount throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Markzov with the counter takedown but Mount avoids it easily.
Mount lands a really nice looking cross but Markzov seems unphased.
Mount scores with a head kick. Markzov tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jake Mount will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Markzov keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Markzov doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Mount counters with a nice uppercut.
Markzov takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
The fighters circling - Mount throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Markzov takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
A jab lands there for Mount.
Markzov throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mount was covering up waiting for the punch and Markzov finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Markzov throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mount works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Mount keeping moving, preventing Markzov from controlling successfully.
Markzov makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Markzov chips away with some ground and pound.

Markzov is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Markzov stands up over Mount, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Markzov wants to control from the top but Mount keeps moving.
Mount controls Markzov momentarily but Markzov frees himself.
Markzov controls from within his opponent's guard.
Markzov is sitting in close to Mount's body. Mount has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Markzov is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Markzov is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Mount.
