As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Marino is going olschool here, as he tries to force Munhoz to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Munhoz shrugs it off.

Marino jumps guard and drags Munhoz to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Marino has his foot on Munhoz's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Munhoz works his way back into a safe position though.

Marino had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Munhoz is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Marino Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Munhoz's back instead.

Marino is looking for the choke from the back position but Munhoz is controlling his hands well.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Marino needs to keep his hands up - Munhoz had a free shot at his head there.
Marino ducks under a wild hook from Munhoz.
Munhoz cracks Marino with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Munhoz throws a series of punches but Marino moves out of range.

Marino closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Munhoz scores with a hook to the body.
Marino will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Munhoz up against the cage.

Marino takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Munhoz tries to bum rush Marino with a series of wild strikes but Marino uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Munhoz scores with a sloppy right hand. Marino should have avoided that one.
Marino's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Marino duly obliges.

and Marino counters with a takedown into side control.

Marino quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Marino but it's paid off an Munhoz is forced to tap! Nice work by Marino.
