Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Weston Hodkiewicz (ranked 5473 p4p, 23962 weight class) and Keith Jardine (ranked 610 p4p, 818 weight class). Hodkiewicz's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Big Pimpin'. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Weston Hodkiewicz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Keith Jardine!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.

Jardine clinches up with Hodkiewicz and pushes him back against the cage.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Hodkiewicz.
Jardine lands a left hand that snaps the head of Hodkiewicz backwards.
Hodkiewicz is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Jardine is defending well.
Jardine lands with a right to the head.

Hodkiewicz tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Jardine successfully pulls guard.
Jardine has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hodkiewicz can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jardine wants to sweep but no luck.
Hodkiewicz trying to control but Jardine is working from the bottom.

Jardine doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Hodkiewicz looking to sit in guard and control but Jardine gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Jardine is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Hodkiewicz has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Jardine is looking to defend but Hodkiewicz has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Jardine! Hodkiewicz pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Jardine taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Weston Hodkiewicz!
A relieved looking Weston Hodkiewicz thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
