Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Curtis Jackson Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hulk Hogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Curtis Jackson Jr has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Curtis Jackson Jr seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Curtis Jackson Jr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hulk Hogan! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson Jr tries to clinch up but Hogan circles away and keeps his distance. Hogan gets the takedown into side control. Jackson Jr seems a little lost for a moment, as Hogan dominates the positioning. Hogan tries to score with some ground and pound. Jackson Jr controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Hogan thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Jackson Jr is trying to buck Hogan off. Jackson Jr struggling a bit here. Hogan is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Jackson Jr has escaped the position, nice work there. Sloppy strikes there by Hogan. Jackson Jr is trying to get back to half guard. Jackson Jr really is a fat lump.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Jackson Jr with a lazy takedown attempt and Hogan counters with a nice double leg into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson Jr working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hogan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hogan manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Hogan working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Hogan wants to control from the top but Jackson Jr keeps moving. Hogan trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Jackson Jr utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Hogan must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Hogan prevents Jackson Jr from getting back to his feet. Hogan stopping the sweep attempt from Jackson Jr. Hogan trying to control the position from guard on top but Jackson Jr is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Hogan misses with a series of wild punches.
Hogan scores a takedown into full mount! Hogan wants to control the pace but Jackson Jr is squirming around nicely. Jackson Jr wants to hold on but Hogan pushes him away. Jackson Jr blocking the ground and pound. Jackson Jr avoids a series of strikes thrown by Hogan.
Hogan looking to control but Jackson Jr is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Hogan controlling his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Hogan thowing shots but they're missing. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hogan throws some wild stikes that Jackson Jr manages to avoid easily.
Jackson Jr manages to work a leg through to get back to half guard here. Good work there by Jackson Jr, under a barage of strikes from Hogan.
Jackson Jr is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hogan's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hogan's back! Hogan trying to control the action but Jackson Jr just sinks the hooks in. Hogan is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Jackson Jr is staying active. Hogan breaks Jackson Jr's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Jackson Jr keeping moving, preventing Hogan from controlling successfully. Jackson Jr is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Jackson Jr escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hogan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Jackson Jr is breathing heavily. Hogan sitting in guard here, content to control. Hogan trying to control but Jackson Jr is working from the bottom. Hogan is looking to work some ground and pound but Jackson Jr has wrist control. Hogan showing good wrestling skills to control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hulk Hogan dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Jackson Jr shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Hogan counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Jackson Jr! Jackson Jr has given up his back.
Hogan has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Jackson Jr has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Jackson Jr manages to reverse the position and now he's in Hogan's guard. Nice work there by Jackson Jr.

Jackson Jr throws and elbow that misses. Hogan uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Jackson Jr's guard. Nice move by Hogan! Jackson Jr has his foot on Hogan's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hogan works his way back into a safe position though. Jackson Jr keeping moving, preventing Hogan from controlling successfully. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jackson Jr is on top in guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hogan can do anything to dispel that myth. Jackson Jr stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hogan swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hogan is controlling Jackson Jr's posture. Jackson Jr wants to control from the top but Hogan keeps moving. Hogan looking for a guillotine here but Jackson Jr defends easily.

Despite being in the dominant position, Hulk Hogan just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hogan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Hogan working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Hogan trying to control but Jackson Jr is having none of it. Hogan misses with a head shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hogan moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Jackson Jr has worked his arm free - good work by Jackson Jr!
Jackson Jr is looking for a sweep. Hogan decides to stand back up. Jackson Jr wants to clinch up but Hogan keeps it at a distance. Jackson Jr with a poor takedown and Hogan counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Jackson Jr! Poor strikes thrown by Hogan there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Hogan tries to control but Jackson Jr wriggling away. Hulk Hogan is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Hogan looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Jackson Jr wants to control but Hogan is having none of it. Hogan throwing strikes here but Jackson Jr is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

And that's the end of the fight! Hulk Hogan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Hogan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
