Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Thunder (ranked 3516 p4p, 4168 weight class) and Hank Holmes (ranked 360 p4p, 0 weight class). Thunder comes to the cage accompanied by Thunderstruck - AcDc. John Thunder is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thunder throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

Thunder closes the distance and pushes Holmes back into the cage.

Holmes manages to break the clinch.
Holmes misses with a straight left.
Thunder went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Thunder darts in and clinches Holmes up against the cage.
Holmes tries to work over Thunder 's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Holmes wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Thunder has him pressed against the cage.
The referee calls for Thunder to work.
Holmes misses with a shot to the kidneys.
I was talking to Thunder 's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Holmes keeps control of Thunder as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Holmes is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Thunder is aware though and is defending well.

Thunder wants to stand and escape but instead Holmes has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Thunder working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Holmes doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Holmes manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Thunder is trying to control the position but Holmes postures up.
Thunder is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Holmes drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Thunder manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Holmes has Thunder in his guard.

Holmes bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Thunder 's guard.

Holmes drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Thunder dives on top into guard.

Thunder is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Holmes is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Thunder defends well.

Thunder is pushing down on Holmes's leg trying to pass to half guard. Holmes is fighting to maintain full guard but Thunder has managed to sneak the leg through.

Thunder wants to control but Holmes is keeping him busy.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Holmes swats away the attempt to clinch by Thunder .
Thunder throws a push kick but Holmes slaps the foot to one side.
Holmes throws a series of punches but Thunder moves out of range.
Thunder shoots in looking for a takedown. Holmes tries to sprawl out of it but Thunder keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Holmes manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Thunder counters with a crisp one two that drops Holmes! Thunder thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Holmes to his feet! Holmes is in big trouble!

Holmes is rocked!
Thunder flashes Holmes a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Holmes's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Holmes crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Thunder punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
