Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lil D (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and adam adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). D comes to the cage accompanied by 1. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lil D!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, adam adams!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

D closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
adams is refusing to be controlled, as D sits in half guard.
adams regains full guard. Nicely done.
D stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. adams swivels though and keeps the full guard.
adams is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst D is controlling him.
D wants to control from the top but adams keeps moving.

adams kicks D off and gets to his feet.
D shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has adams pinned against the cage. adams gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
adams lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
adams throws a series of punches but D moves out of range.
D fails to land the takedown.
adams throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
adams misses with an attempted mid kick.
D slips a jab and a cross from adams.

D shoots for a takedown but adams saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

D is breathing heavily.

adams rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but D moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

D shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says adams as he avoids it easily.
adams throws a right and a left that D avoids nicely.
D tries for a takedown but adams sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

adams shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in D's guard.
adams keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of D's head.

adams gets to his feet - D follows without any prompting.
adams is working the combinations to good effect here.

D takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

adams connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

adams wants to get back to striking at distance but D won't allow it.

adams has picked D up - he's going for a ride! adams dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

D tries to roll over but adams keeps him under control.

D is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but adams pulls his head out easily.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
adams wants to stand up but D has a hold of him and won't allow it.
D is trying to get back to full guard.
Still in half guard, adams seems content to control.
adams landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

adams has closed the distance and engaged D in a clinch.

adams escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
D shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and adams counters with a single leg into guard. D didn't expect that.

D had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. adams is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. D Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take adams's back instead.
adams should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

D is looking for the choke from the back position but adams is controlling his hands well.

D is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
adams turns into D and is now in his guard.
D trying to control the position.

adams stands and steps away. D gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
adams swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
D shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
D shoots for a takedown but adams saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
adams misses with a two punch combination.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

D shoots in but no luck this time.
adams moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
D tries to clinch but adams moves out of range.
adams will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
D shoots and misses

and adams counters with a nice double leg into guard.
adams prevents D from getting back to his feet.

adams gets to his feet. D looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
adams connects with a right hand. D shakes it off.

adams bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
D is looking for a sweep.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
adams in side control lands a decent elbow.
D tries to improve position but can't.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

adams decides to stand up, so the ref orders D to his feet.

D drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

D is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. adams knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

adams throws D to one side and escapes!
D shoots for a double leg takedown but adams sprawls well. He's pushed D's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

adams can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as D is looking to escape.
D can't escape the position.
adam adams has got the better of the ground game so far.

adams breaks from D's wrist control and lands an elbow.
D bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

adams is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

adams tries to close the distance and clinch up but D swats him away and circles back towards the center.

D shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in adams's guard.
D is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
D trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
D stands and throws adams's legs to the side, diving into side control.
D trying to control the action but adams is working from the bottom.
The referee asks D politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. D prefers to stall for the moment though.
adams is not content to let D control the position.
adams manages to work his way to half guard, despite D's best efforts.

D wants to pass to mount but adams is defending the position.
D thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing adams to regain full guard.
D stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. adams swivels though and keeps the full guard.
D trying to control but adams is working from the bottom.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now adams is on top in guard.

D has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. adams is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for D.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
adams cracks D with a big right hand but D just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

adam adams showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

D blocks the strikes from adams.
adams manages to get to full guard.

adams is trying to keep D in close.
D stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. adams swivels though and keeps the full guard.
adams doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
adams thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

adams shoots in and bounces D off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

adams stands and steps away. D gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
D doesn't succeed with the takedown
and adams counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
adams scores with a jab. D acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
adams scores with a one two! D had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
adams lands a lovely overhand right.

D drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
D lands a couple of decent looking shots.
adams wants to get back to his feet but D is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
D connects with a couple of short punches.
adams is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

D is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! adams is tapping! Great win for D!
