Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Orion (ranked 7029 p4p, 520 weight class) and Augusto Claudio (ranked 4969 p4p, 450 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Claudio misses its intended target.
Orion went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Claudio takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Orion throws a hook but Claudio avoids it easily.
Orion tries a head kick but it misses.
Thomas Orion seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Claudio steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Orion.
Orion is looking to clinch.
Claudio takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Orion's corner calls for a 1-2. Orion obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Claudio takes a swing at Orion's ribcage but misses.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Claudio shoots in for a double leg but Orion sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Orion scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Claudio doesn't seem bothered though.
Orion feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Claudios jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Orion is looking to clinch.
Claudio walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Orion goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Claudio takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Claudio misses with a straight left.
Orion throws a series of punches but Claudio moves out of range.
Claudio slips a jab and a cross from Orion.
Orion moves in looking to clinch but Claudio pushes him off.
Orion throws a head kick that misses.
Orion lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Claudio throws a hook to the side of Orion's head but Orion sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Claudio wants to lay and pray for a moment but Orion keeps working.
