Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Marcos Agripa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jules Winnfield! The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Sandra Marshall and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Agripa throws a body shot but no joy. Winnfield shapes to counter with a head kick. Winnfield goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Agripa jabbing away but nothing is landing. Agripa sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Agripa avoids a kick to the body.
Winnfield looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Winnfield motions for Agripa to come forward. Winnfield throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Agripa definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Winnfield throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Agripa counters with a shoot takedown. Winnfield fights it but they end up in guard. Winnfield wants to get back to his feet but Agripa passes into half guard.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Winnfield is in trouble now - Agripa has advanced to mount! Agripa content just to control the position here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Agripa looking for a guillotine from mount but Winnfield is having none of it. Agripa is working for a guillotine from mount but Winnfield frees his head quite easily.
Winnfield really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Agripa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Agripa jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Winnfield manages to avoid the submission attempt. Winnfield is letting Agripa control him for a moment. Winnfield tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Agripa patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Winnfield is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Winnfield is trying to defend against the choke here but Agripa has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Agripa Tightens the hold and Winnfield taps out furiously! Agripa displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Marcos Agripa!
