Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billy Robbins (ranked 24914 p4p, 4395 weight class) and Bjorn Akerfeldt (ranked 700 p4p, 490 weight class). Billy Robbins is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Billy Robbins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bjorn Akerfeldt! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Arvi Lind and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Robbins doesn't manage to clinch there - Akerfeldt circles away.
Robbins has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Robbins gets tackled into the cage by Akerfeldt. Akerfeldt maintains the clinch. Akerfeldt turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Akerfeldt manages to end up in side control. Akerfeldt looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Robbins is looking to regain half guard here but Akerfeldt keeps moving and retains side control. Akerfeldt stands up and beckons Robbins to his feet. Robbins shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Akerfeldt manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Akerfeldt manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Robbins looking to throw knees to the head but Akerfeldt is blocking nicely.

Robbins is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Akerfeldt pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Robbins is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Akerfeldt's half guard. Akerfeldt manages to escape and get back to his feet! Excellent takedown into side control there by Akerfeldt. Akerfeldt in side control, just content to control the action for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Akerfeldt decides to stand back up. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Robbins closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Akerfeldt did well to prevent Robbins getting side control. Akerfeldt manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Robbins keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. Robbins connects with a nasty looking knee right to Akerfeldt's face.

Akerfeldt pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Akerfeldt steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Robbins is out on his feet! Akerfeldt sets himself and nearly takes Robbins's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Bjorn Akerfeldt! A determined Bjorn Akerfeldt didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
