Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Liam Williams (ranked 3835 p4p, 7180 weight class) and Peter Silie (ranked 463 p4p, 656 weight class). Williams comes to the ring accompanied by Shaggy - It Wasn't Me. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Liam Williams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Peter Silie! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Lou da Vinci and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Williams as Silie shoots in. Silie dives in and grabs Williams's left leg, looking for a takedown. Williams pushes down on Silie's head and hops out. Williams scores with a shot to the body.
Williams definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. A swing and a miss from Williams. Silie misses with a hook
and Williams cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Silie tries to move into range but Williams moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
It looks like Peter Silie has been cut. Silie tries to score a power double leg takedown but Williams sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Silie somewhat. It looked like Williams wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Liam Williams has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Peter Silie. Silie shoots for a double leg takedown but Williams sprawls well. He's pushed Silie's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Silie throws out a loose jab but Williams uses good head movement to avoid it. Silie uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Williams. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Silie. Williams swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Silie avoids a lazy jab quite easily. A looping hook to the body misses from Williams. Silie does a little dance to reset his feet. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Silie bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Silie shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Williams manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Silie trying to control but Williams is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Williams trying to control the position here. Silie wants to control from the top but Williams keeps moving. Silie is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Williams controlling Silie's posture. Silie pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Williams is keeping the position for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Silie is pushing down on Williams's leg trying to pass to half guard. Williams is fighting to maintain full guard but Silie has managed to sneak the leg through. Silie seems to be working for a kimura but Williams defends the submission attempt. Silie looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Silie is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Williams doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Silie.
And that's the end of the fight! Liam Williams showed his dominance in that final round. I think Williams has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
