The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kallas throws a low kick but it's checked well by Karelis.
Kallas scores with a jab. Karelis acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

and Kallas takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Karelis closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Kallas's guard.

Kallas is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Karelis is hurt! He's hurt bad - Kallas fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Karelis from any more punishment! Congratulations to Kallas! Great finish!
