Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Death Minister (ranked 2211 p4p, 5305 weight class) and Jure Jez (ranked 305 p4p, 603 weight class). Minister comes into the arena with Rhapsody of Fire blaring out of the sound system. Jure Jez told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Minister bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Jez's head backwards.
Minister scores with a jab to the head.
A cross from Minister lands.
Jez shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Minister pinned against the cage. Minister gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

and Minister counters with a stiff right hand.
Minister lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Jez is rocked!
Minister cracks Jez with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Minister has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Jez to stand back up!
Jez is still on wobbly legs! Can Minister finish him?
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jez walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Minister swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Death Minister!
